As part of its development strategy, CEVA Logistics has formed a new joint venture with its agent in Pakistan.

The new entity will operate under the CEVA Logistics name starting Sept. 1, 2021. WAC Logistic Pakistan has been CEVA’s partner in the country for the last three years, and Khurram Sheikh, former director with WAC Logistics will serve as CEVA’s country manager.

With the change, the former WAC offices in Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad will be fully branded as CEVA Logistics, and the new company’s head office will be at the Karachi location. The new business will enable customers in Pakistan to leverage CEVA’s global, multi-modal network and will offer them seamless access to a world-leading range of services covering inbound and outbound cargo movements. CEVA Logistics will offer customers in Pakistan a full range of air, ocean, ground, contract logistics, project cargo and Customs clearance facilities.

With its industry expertise and knowledge of the garment industry, CEVA’s factory-to-floor solutions enable the customer to focus on growth while achieving flexibility and reducing non-core costs. At the same time, CEVA’s systems can deliver the crucial visibility demanded by manufacturers to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace. CEVA’s fashion and retail solutions are developed to work within an integrated transportation and supply chain management model.

CEVA Logistics remains committed to a “think global, act local” growth strategy by adding the WAC Logistics local know-how to CEVA’s leading global network through the joint venture. The addition of 31 employees with leading logistics expertise further supports CEVA’s global end-to-end logistics capabilities.
