BLG Increased transfer capacity Logistics service provider BLG LOGISTICS has expanded its services in road logistics.

The first five of 80 longer semitrailers are now available for efficient, sustainable goods transport. They can transport up to ten percent more goods than conventional semitrailers.

The Road Freight area of the BLG Group in the CONTRACT division already operates a fleet of 90 road tractors and just under 200 semitrailers. They transport some 50,000 complete loads per year. This additional offer is BLG's response to the increased demand for larger transport volumes.

Carsten Battenberg, Chief of the Road Freight area since the beginning of 2023, says: "By utilizing the longer semitrailers, we can offer our customers increased transport capacities. In concrete terms, this means more goods in fewer deliveries. That cuts both carbon emissions and costs."

Carsten Battenberg will be happy to answers any questions about the topic in person at the transport logistic in Munich. The BLG LOGISTICS stand is in Hall B4, stand number 209.
