ZURICH, March 31, 2019. SWISS, the parent company of Swiss WorldCargo, is Switzerland’s most attractive employer for the second year running.

The annual Randstad Award assesses the appeal of 150 companies in Switzerland evaluated by potential employees aged between 18 and 65 on a set of 16 criteria that reflect the job market’s perception of each employer brand.

SWISS RANDSTADSWISS head of Human Resources Christoph Ulrich said the company would be recruiting 1,000 people this year “so it’s vital for us to maintain our high job-market reputation and our strong employer brand”.

The company won the award ahead of second place Patek Philippe followed by Rolex, Flughafen Zürich, Swissport International, Swatch Group, Migros, Banque Pictet et Cie, Lindt & Sprüngli, and Siemens.

The no-doubt happy employees at Swiss WorldCargo (SWC) say their division is to begin daily flights from Zurich to Montreal and Beijing with an A330-300.

Beginning in May, SWC will also increase capacity between Zurich and Chicago to 12 flights a week with a B777-300ER and an A330-300; introduce four departures a week to Vancouver and two to Calgary with an A340-300; 
fly once a week to San Diego going to twice in July with an A340-300; and operate 14 flights a week to Boston with an A330/A340-300.

Services to other destinations in the Americas including Newark, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Havana, San Jose, Punta Cana, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo remain unchanged.

In Asia, the carrier will continue to offer an unchanged service frequency to Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo, Delhi and Bombay.
