DAYTON, OH: May 31, 2018. Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP) has become the launch customer for CSafe Global’s new RAP e-container.

The ULD maintains constant payload temperatures from -30°C to +54°C and provides 6.68 cubic metres of volume to accommodate four standard US pallets or five standard Euro pallets. As with the CSafe’s RKN option, the RAP has an extended battery life of over 100 hours.

AFKLMP and CSafeFabrice Panza (left of picture), AFKLMP’s head of Product and Development Pharma logistics noted: “With its unmatched capabilities at extreme ambient temperature and its improved battery, this new RAP container will enable us to offer even more reliable solutions on extra-long-range shipments with best-in-class maintained of the temperature setting.

“We are excited to partner CSafe Global in launching this innovative product, reaffirming our commitment to offering customers the very latest technology to ensure the quality of the products and services we offer,” he added.

The container utilizes heating and compressor-driven cooling technology together with advanced ThermoCor VIP insulation to eliminate the risks to payloads associated with extreme ambient temperature conditions and long-duration shipments, said the manufacturer.

Sebastien Berrous (right in picture), CSafe Global Strategic Sales director and Key Account director for AFKLMP explained: “The industry has identified lanes where efficiencies can be achieved by utilizing RAPs versus multiple RKNs.
