MILAN: June 19, 2018. Bolloré Logistics has obtained Transport Asset Protection Association (TAPA) FSR A certification for its Milan-Pantigliate logistics facility.
This internationally recognized safety standard FSR Level A is awarded to sites with the highest degree of security requirements in storage services.
Bolloré has six sites in Italy offering a wide range of international transport and supply chain services. The Milan-Pantigliate location specializes in the fashion and luxury sectors with a dedicated and trained team that supports labeling and repackaging of articles by destination site.
The products are then transported on hangers (GOH) mostly leaving for Asia. Computer systems integrated with customers’ IT resources provide monitoring of the entire process in real time and end-to-end.
Bolloré’s enhanced security includes construction of a high value cage inside the warehouse; a daily guard post at the entrance of the site providing access control; identification badges with individualized and nominated access rights;
and extra video surveillance and anti-intrusion devices.
“Improvements have been made both in terms of equipment and safety and training processes for teams to ensure the maximum security of the goods of our high-end fashion customers,” says Luigi Brunetti, managing director of Bolloré Logistics Italy.
