LONDON HEATHROW: September 11, 2018. CargoLogicAir (CLA) has appointed former Martinair vice president Operations Frank de Jong its COO as the UK-registered airline prepares to take delivery of another B747-400ERF freighter.

The 21-year KLM/Martinair veteran joins the airline from a role as director Product Development at CargoLogicManagement, a consulting company serving the Volga-Dnepr Group and its strategic partners.

CLA has also appointed former IAG Cargo UK Sales Negotiations manager Freddie Overton as regional director for Europe & Americas; Sean Pettit as head of Financial Control; and Sarah Owen is promoted to head the airline’s Operations Control Centre at its Stockley Park headquarters near London Heathrow.

“These key appointments and our next aircraft delivery will keep us on track with our five-year plan and allow us to expand our capabilities in support of the UK’s key exporting and importing industries,” declared CEO David Kerr. “They will also enhance our ability to play a lead role alongside our network of international cargo airline partners in serving the requirements of key global customers and strategic industry partners.”
