NEW-ISENBURG, Germany: September 13, 2018. Lufthansa Cargo express logistics subsidiary time:matters has acquired Frankfurt-based companies CB Customs Broker and Customs Broker Cargo Handling.

Both companies will continue to act as neutral partners and offer Customs clearance and air cargo handling to forwarders, integrators and courier companies.

Customs Broker and time:matters have worked together at Frankfurt Airport since 2006. Alexander Kohnen, managing director of time:matters Holding said the acquisition meant it would be able to acquire decades of Customs clearance and cargo handling expertise.

“CB Customs Broker and Customs Broker Cargo Handling will continue to go from strength to strength under the time:matters umbrella,” added founder Stelios Ntounakis. “This will ensure the continuity of the business model and maintenance of existing customer relationships into the future as well.”
