ISTANBUL: November 8, 2018. Turkish Cargo has joined the Pharma.Aero initiative, which fosters collaboration between CEIV certified airport communities.

The "Pharma.Aero full membership certificate" was presented to Mr. Turhan Özen, Chief Cargo Officer Turkish Airlines at the ceremony held at TIACA Air Cargo Forum.

Pharma.Aero aims to achieve excellence in reliable end-to-end air transportation of pharmaceutical products and focuses on advocating the best interests of the pharma industry; developing air cargo as a reliable transport mode for pharma; becoming leaders in developing cool chain solutions; and growing the pharma business at member airports.

The main aim of the association is to create content towards the entire industry of lifescience airfreight. Bringing both the pharmaceutical companies and logistic service and solution providers at the table, leads to the devlopement of projects, of which the outcomes aim to imporve the entire industry.
