CHICAGO: January 06, 2019. Seko Logistics has acquired Chicago-based GoodShip International, a Customs brokerage and compliance consultancy for an undisclosed sum. The company says this is the first full acquisition of another independent freight forwarding specialist in its 42-year history.

seko Founded 24 years ago, GoodShip International provides Customs brokerage, compliance, air and ocean freight solutions to a broad diversity of clients with emphasis on Trans-Pacific Eastbound cargo movements for the Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, FMCG, Healthcare Products, Pharma and Retail sectors.

The investment represents the latest phase of Seko’s programme to expand its global footprint, establish more strategic partnerships and make strategic acquisitions in the forwarding and technology sectors.
