BANGKOK: June 12, 2019. CMA CGM and subsidiary Ceva Logistics have launched a new cross-border service for customers who use ocean freight containers in Thailand and Laos.

The new combined ocean freight and cross-border trucking service enables importers to drop off their empty containers at a newly-expanded CMA CGM container depot (pictured), operated by Ceva near Vientiane, Laos. As a result, exporters from both Laos and Northeastern Thailand can have faster access to an empty container.
