TROISDORF, Germany: June 13, 2019. German rail logistics company TX Logistik AG, owned by Italian State Railways, has been granted an operating license for Denmark and will now proceed with “cautious and profitable growth”.

Company CEO Mirko Pahl noted: “We now have our own licences in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, whose specifications and processes we control uniformly as part of a European safety management system.

“In transit to Sweden, we can now offer traction services independently on the overland link in addition to the marine connections,” he added.

TX Logistik was founded in 1999 as a private rail transport company and operates an European network in 11 countries with subsidiaries in Switzerland, Austria, Denmark and Sweden as well as local offices in Italy and the Netherlands.

The company, which had revenue of €250 million last year, provides rail services for continental and maritime traffic as well as custom solutions for conventional freight.
