LukaKoperBUDAPEST: September 30,2019. Rail Cargo Operator Hungary (RCO) has launched a weekly intermodal rail service connecting the Romanian city of Ploiesti with Budapest BILK terminal and with an onward connection to Koper Container terminal.

The service operates once a week on the Ploesti-Budapest route, while the Budapest-Koper section is operated jointly by Adria Kombi and Rail Cargo Operator with one or two departures daily in both directions.

The service is particularly advantageous for Romanian shippers looking for frequent and numerous maritime connections with Mediterranean and Far East ports with excellent transit times available through the Port of Koper.
