DFW International Airport

Swiss WorldCargoSwiss WorldCargo will begin operating at the new Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) instead of Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) as of Summer 2020. The new airport is a world-class facility, located in Daxing, south of the capital city centre.

"We look forward to processing your shipments at the airport’s new state-of-the art special product facilities," says a spokesperson. "Additionally, we will be able to handle your most complex and care-intensive shipping needs with defined processes for Live Animals, Dangerous Goods, Active or Passive pharmaceutical shipments as well as Valuables."

In addition to the physical change in location, Swiss WorldCargo will have improved departure times, allowing new and immediate connections when departing from Zurich at 17.20 local time and from Peking at 11.00 local time. We are delighted to note that these favourable timings will allow us increased opportunities for connecting flights and facilitating the same day arrival of express products.

Swiss WorldCargo will continue to operate the route with an Airbus A330-300, which holds an average of 12 to 18 tons of cargo. The date of our first ZRH-PKX flight will be Saturday 28 March 2020; consequently, the last ZRH-PEK flight will operate on 27 March returning 28 March from PEK.
